Job summary

Elliott Aviation in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking an Avionics Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of avionics systems on business aircraft. This role demands precise workmanship, adherence to FARs, and collaboration with a skilled team to deliver safe, reliable flight operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of avionics installation experience, strong knowledge of cockpit systems, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and service bulletins.

Qualifications

• 2+ years avionics installation experience.
• Familiarity with cockpit systems and service bulletins.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
• A&P/FCC license a plus (not required).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft.
• Complete installations, modifications, and upgrades of avionics components and wiring using approved data.
• Interpret and apply manuals, wiring diagrams, engineering orders, and service bulletins to ensure compliance with regulatory and repair-station requirements.
• Document all maintenance actions with test results, corrective actions, and traceability of parts used.
• Communicate with department manager or crew chief on problems or repairs.
• Ensure all work is within project scope and inspected by an authorized repair-station inspector.
• Learn and follow the company work order and parts requisition process.
• Maintain the security, calibration, and proper use of tools and test devices.
