The Avionics Repair Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and supporting the installation of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to independently resolve complex aircraft discrepancies while maintaining compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
One day may involve troubleshooting an intermittent autopilot issue on a corporate jet. The next may include supporting a major avionics installation, diagnosing electrical discrepancies, or assisting with an aircraft‑on‑ground event requiring rapid problem solving.
Education & Experience
Autopilots, Flight Management Systems, Navigation and Communication Systems, EFIS, Aircraft Electrical Systems, Lighting, and Pitot/Static Systems.
