Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking an Avionics Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and instrument systems across airframes. You will document work, order parts, and assist others while maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, on-the-job training, and adherence to electrical and workmanship standards, with ongoing opportunities for development and certification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in avionics or related field required.
• QI designation and Repairman's Certificate eligibility.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Regular attendance; on-call and travel rotation.
• Lift up to 50–100 lbs; tolerate heights/noise.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, tests, and replaces avionics and instrument wiring.
• Documents work performed on orders and installation details.
• Assists bench techs and provides on-the-job training.
• Performs in-flight troubleshooting with flight crews.
• Maintains equipment and work area; operates ground support.
• Participates in training and maintains training log.
• Serves as point of contact for customers on technical issues.
