Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking an Avionics Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace avionics components across various aircraft. This role emphasizes adherence to manufacturer specs, FARs, and Duncan’s operating manual in a safe environment.

Technicians may serve as a Qualified Inspector and will document all work precisely while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• 1+ year avionics or related maintenance experience preferred.
• License/certificate eligibility: Repairman's Certificate; QI designation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical data and processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, test, and replace avionics and instrument systems.
• Document work on the work order accurately.
• Assist bench technicians and provide OJT to peers.
• Perform in-flight troubleshooting with flight crews when needed.
• Interact professionally with customers regarding technical issues.
