Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking an Avionics Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace avionics components across various airframes. The role may involve as QI duties, accurate work documentation, and customer communication on technical issues.

Essential tasks include wiring repairs, system testing, and coordination with flight crews for in‑flight troubleshooting. Candidates should hold an Associate degree in avionics or related field and have avionics maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in avionics, electronics, airframe/engine maintenance or related field or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year avionics, electronics, airframe maintenance or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, tests, removes and replaces avionics and instrument wiring and systems in various airframes; orders parts and documents work as required.
• Assists bench technicians to resolve discrepancies and provides on‑the‑job training to others.
• Cleans and maintains test equipment and work area; operates ground support equipment as needed.
• Travels with flight crews for in‑flight troubleshooting and evaluations; communicates with customers regarding technical issues.
• Attends factory and company trainings and maintains training log.
