Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Teterboro, NJ is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair avionics units and aircraft systems to the component level.

This full-time, on-site role requires 1+ year of avionics experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to travel by air when needed. Benefits start at day one, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or passport ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and evaluation of aircraft systems.
• Inspection and evaluation of aircraft and components.
• Aircraft movement and performance verification of systems.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Work with customers in project management, pricing and customer support roles.
• Work independently on projects.
• Speak, read and write in English clearly.
• Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
