Vista Aircraft Maintenance in Western Wisconsin is seeking an Avionics Lead to provide technical leadership for Avionics Technicians and oversee avionics maintenance operations in a Part 145 repair environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive avionics experience, strong leadership skills, and solid knowledge of FAA regulatory requirements, maintenance manuals, quality control, and safety standards. This role supports MRT/AOG and field service operations as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 5–10+ years avionics or aircraft electrical experience or military equivalent
• 3+ years in a Part 145 environment, Part 135 environment
• Experience with corporate aircraft (Gulfstream, Cessna, or Bombardier) preferred
• MRT/field service/lead experience preferred
• Ability to guide, train and mentor other technicians
• Expert with avionics installation and modification
• Interpret engineering data and technical instructions
• Read complex wiring diagrams and manuals
• Knowledge of avionics test equipment
• Must have own tools for the job

Aufgaben

• Provide technical guidance to Avionics Technicians; perform and coordinate avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation
• Support complex modifications, inspections, and upgrades
• Assist with work planning and job execution
• Ensure compliance with approved data and Company manuals
• Support audits, inspections, and quality reviews
• Promote adherence to safety and regulatory requirements
• Interface with Quality, Engineering, and OEM technical support
• Ensure work complies with Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and installation of avionics and electrical systems
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• Perform functional checks and operational tests
• Perform avionics modifications and installations using approved data
• Complete maintenance records in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Support inspections and system checks as assigned
• Support MRT, AOG, or field service operations when required
• Follow procedures in the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual
• Maintain compliance with Parts 43, 65, 135, and 145 as applicable
