Job summary

Cutter Aviation, a leading aviation services provider, seeks an Avionics Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and installations under FAA regulations and the repair station manual. You will remove and reinstall components, run checks, and resolve discrepancies, working with the Avionics Supervisor to ensure quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in avionics installations/repairs and an A&P certificate preferred, with strong attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• A&P certificate preferred.
• Two+ years related experience and/or training in aviation.
• Strong understanding of 145 repair station operations/regulations.
• Two+ years demonstrated experience in aircraft avionics installations and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs are performed using approved methods per manufacturer manuals and FAA regulations.
• Coordinate with shop to minimize delays and maximize production efficiency.
• Follow 14 CFR part 43 for all work.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and ensure safe tool handling.
• Perform airframe electrical, avionics repairs, inspections, installations, and modifications.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Complete repair station forms with accurate part numbers and documentation.
