Job summary

V2X is seeking an Avionics Technician to inspect, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment in aircraft. Located at Patuxent River, MD, the role requires performing calibration, diagnostics, and routine maintenance to ensure mission readiness.

Strong knowledge of schematics and test equipment is essential, with adherence to safety and CAMS documentation. The candidate should have a high school diploma, specialized avionics training, and 2–4 years of recent UH-1Y/Z or H-60 avionics repair

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of specialized avionics courses for the helicopter.
• 2–4 years recent experience repairing aircraft avionics, com/nav, or instrument systems (UH-1Y/Z or H-60).

Responsibilities

• Perform operational and bench checks on avionics equipment.
• Troubleshoot, isolate malfunctions, and repair components.
• Calibrate and replace system components per blueprints and manuals.
• Maintain good housekeeping and CAMS documentation.
• Comply with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 and NAMP/NALCOMIS practices.
