Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Teterboro, NJ is recruiting an Avionics Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will troubleshoot and repair avionics units (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio and Autopilot) and support aircraft systems across the aircraft.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred electronics or avionics training, and 1+ year of experience. You’ll work under the Avionics Team Leader, with competitive pay, benefits starting day one, and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license or passport is ideal but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support on aircraft including removal/install of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate avionics systems on the aircraft.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Verify aircraft and system performance.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Collaborate with customers in project management and pricing.
