Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Wichita, KS seeks an avionics technician to repair, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment under limited supervision.

You will read manuals, perform inspections, and document work to meet regulatory standards; operate ground support equipment, and maintain tools and safety practices.

Candidates with FCC/GROL and FAA A&P licenses or NCATT certification are preferred; military qualifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Avionics/electrical aircraft experience required.
• FCC/GROL and FAA A&P licenses preferred.
• NCATT/AET certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings and manuals.
• Operate ground support equipment and industrial vehicles safely.

• Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment (scissor/boom lift, forklift, etc.)
• Comply with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner
• Own and maintain hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control of tools Read and understand electrical engineering drawings
• Perform aircraft inspections with appropriate oversight
• Basic PC skills
