Job summary

SEGULA Technologies seeks an aviation mechanic to support helicopter maintenance for completions and deliveries. The role covers detailed assembly, installation, repair, and alignment of components, plus troubleshooting to ensure airworthiness.

The position requires at least six years of aviation experience, rotor system knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints. English proficiency is essential; A&P license is preferred but not required. This is a contract assignment based in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience as aviation mechanic.
• Helicopter maintenance experience required.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams, and apply standard shop practices in fabrications and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide aircraft maintenance support for new helicopter completions and deliveries.
• Perform detailed assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctioning systems and components to determine corrective action.
• Conduct airframe calendar/hourly inspections and inspect for hidden damage on airframe structures and sub-assemblies.
• Disassemble and reassemble aircraft as needed for movement; may involve loading/offloading aircraft to/from trailer.
• Track and balance rotor systems and perform vibration analysis.

• Perform detailed assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctioning systems and components to determine corrective action required to assure safety and airworthiness of aircraft.
• Conduct applicable airframe calendar/hourly inspections, hidden damage inspections of airframe structures and sub-assemblies.
• Perform aircraft disassembly and reassembly as required for aircraft movement, may include loading/offloading aircraft to/from trailer.
• Perform track and balancing of rotor systems and vibration analysis.

This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by Segula and placed on assignment to our client facility
