Job summary

NetJets is seeking an Avionics Technical Specialist to deliver avionics and digital controlled system support for NetJets aircraft and vendors. You will work under the DOM office, ensuring effective maintenance control and timely resolutions to avionics issues.

This role requires 4–6 years of avionics experience, FAA A&P certification, and the ability to coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and internal teams to keep NetJets aircraft in top condition.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Four years in avionics and electronic digital systems troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to analyze aircraft wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Must be able to work with vendors and communicate troubleshooting requests.

Responsibilities

• Provides MCC, Flight Operations and vendors with avionics troubleshooting support and works with OEM engineering for resolutions.
• Collaborates with Line Planning, QA, Return to Service, Aircraft Programs and Flight Operations on avionics issues.
• Maintains and provides technical publications related to NetJets avionics systems.
• Utilizes OEM troubleshooting programs such as AReS; Smart Fix Plus.

Purpose of Position

The Avionics Technical Specialist is responsible for providing aircraft avionics and/or digital controlled system(s) technical support to the NetJets organization and its vendors. The Avionics Technical Specialist is appointed and empowered by the aircraft certificate holders' Director of Maintenance (DOM) to conduct designated functions of the DOM office.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provides the Maintenance Control Center (MCC), Flight Operations and vendors with aircraft avionics and digital controlled system(s) troubleshooting support. Works with Original Equipment Manufacturer(s) (OEM) engineering for anomaly resolutions.
• Works harmoniously with NetJets departments including Line Planning, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Return to Service, Aircraft Programs and Flight Operations regarding aircraft avionics and/or digital controlled system(s) anomalies.
• Is responsible for maintaining and providing all necessary technical publications related to NetJets aircraft avionics and/or digital controlled systems.
• Utilize OEM troubleshooting programs such as AReS; Smart Fix Plus.
