Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Lead of Systems Upgrades Engineering in Mobile, Alabama. You will lead a high-visibility team responsible for avionics upgrade projects across in-service aircraft families, interfacing with multiple Airbus departments and global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 15+ years leading large, diverse aviation engineering teams (engineering, PM, design/production).
• Authorized to Work in the US.
• Experience leading a technical team of aviation personnel.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and compliance documents.
• Good coordination and relationship skills with team members, customers, partners, and airworthiness authorities.
• Ability to build and maintain an internal network with colleagues globally.
• Travel up to 20% (Domestic and International).

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and sustain an engineering team to deliver on-time, on-cost, and on-quality aircraft modification projects.
• Interface with Program, Airworthiness, Kit Management and transnational teams.
• Collaborate with Hamburg and Toulouse counterparts on process and engineering methods.
