Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. seeks an Avionics Integration Engineer to develop, manage, and communicate integration and test requirements for military upgrade programs to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include creating system performance specifications, interface control documents, and test plans, plus performing analyses to verify performance and coordinating with multiple organizations to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with avionics system integration and aircraft power systems.
• Familiarity with RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD standards listed.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external organizations.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively in a team; strong interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and communicate integration & test requirements for military upgrade programs.
• Create system performance specifications, interface control documents, and test plans/procedures.
• Perform air vehicle and systems level analysis to verify performance requirements.
• Plan, support, and manage integration projects to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure critical performance parameters are met.
• Suggest design improvements to avionics and weapon system capabilities.
• Provide technical guidance to subcontractors to verify performance, cost, and schedule.
• Work with Business Development to propose technical solutions for new opportunities.
