Job summary

Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) is seeking a seasoned engineer to lead test and analysis activities for space avionics verification. You will design and execute test plans, analyze results, and drive verification strategies in collaboration with Systems Engineering, Software, and Hardware teams.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with HWIL environments, DOORS, Python/XML/C, and a strong commitment to programmatic test excellence in a dynamic, mission‑driven setting.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited university preferred.
• BS with 5–15 years of relevant experience or MS with 3–13 years.
• U.S. Citizenship and STAR ID required.

Responsibilities

• Lead test and analysis activities across verification of avionics systems.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and data analysis plans.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Software, Test and Electrical teams.
• Maintain and improve a library of test procedures and verification methodologies.
