Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Avionics Test Engineer to support the development, qualification, and flight testing of spacecraft avionics hardware, including COTS and custom electronic systems.

You will work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to validate avionics performance from assembly through environmental and flight test campaigns, and contribute to test plans, procedures, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support avionics testing through functional, thermal, vibration (vibe), and thermal vacuum (TVAC) test campaigns.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and validation activities.
• Investigate test anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with systems, software, propulsion, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams to define and verify requirements.
• Analyze and communicate test results, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Support system-level integration, verification, and qualification of flight hardware.
• Maintain accurate test records, engineering documentation, and compliance artifacts.
