AT&T is seeking an experienced Avionics Specialist to support the performance, maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement of the aviation systems for its corporate fleet. You will ensure reliability, safety, and operational readiness while delivering a world-class travel experience for executive passengers.

Responsibilities include training crew, troubleshooting avionics, coordinating work orders, maintaining FAA paperwork, and collaborating with maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business aviation activities with hands-on avionics systems experience (Gulfstream 500/600 preferred).
• FAA certifications such as an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required along with relevant aviation training.
• Strong familiarity with avionics systems and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in project management with scheduling and multi-tasking focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer relationship abilities.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and CAMP maintenance tracking systems.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills for quick problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to crew on avionics systems including in-flight connectivity and cabin systems.
• Maintain proficiency through recurrent training and stay abreast of regulatory requirements.
• Offer technical expertise in avionics troubleshooting, system modifications, and flight controls.
• Coordinate avionics work orders, scheduling, and quality control.
• Collaborate with DOM, maintenance teams, and managers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Handle FAA paperwork and compliance documentation accurately and timely.
• Manage multiple projects, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
• Engage with flight department teams to support projects and requests.
• Participate in avionics/connectivity industry committee meetings.
• Occasionally travel to support aircraft and events.
