Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Radar Repairer to support radar maintenance and repair for military communications. You will learn to operate radar equipment, install and service receivers and transmitters, and keep detailed equipment logs.

Training lasts 10 weeks of Basic Training followed by 45 weeks of classroom instruction with hands-on repair practice, paid during the program, with tuition assistance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Between 17 and 35 years old.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and adjust system components and test equipment to tolerances.
• Perform initial, in-process, on-site technical and quality control inspections.
