Job summary

Stoke Space seeks an Avionics - Stage Integration and Test Engineer to lead the architecture, integration, test, and flight of avionics hardware for the Nova rocket. You will partner with design, manufacturing, test, and launch site teams to define integration, electrical checkout, and pre-flight sequences that enable the first flight.

The role requires working across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces and staying focused in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in electrical engineering or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• 5+ years experience designing, building, or testing electrical systems/electronics.
• Experience with integration, test, or operations of complex multidisciplinary systems such as launch vehicles or aerospace hardware.
• Experience developing electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated avionics systems from design through flight.
• Develop harness schematics, equipment lists, and test plans for the full stage avionics system.
• Facilitate hardware-in-the-loop test solutions to validate designs.
• Define integration and pre-flight operation sequences for the launch vehicle.
