Job summary

Stoke Space is seeking an Avionics - Stage Integration and Test Engineer to lead the architecture, integration, test, and launch of avionics flight hardware for Nova, our fully reusable launch vehicle. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and launch teams to define integration and pre-flight sequences aimed at the first launch.

The role requires 5+ years of electrical systems experience, expertise in schematics and automated tests, and readiness to work across WA and Cape Canaveral

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years designing, building, or testing electrical systems/electronics.
• Experience with integration, test, or operations of complex multidisciplinary systems.
• Experience developing electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with automated test sequences and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated avionics systems from design to flight.
• Develop system/harness schematics and test plans for stage and engine avionics.
• Utilize hardware-in-the-loop test solutions for validation.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces of the launch vehicle.
• Maintain system-level integration schedules and reports.
• Troubleshoot electrical hardware issues and drive corrective actions.
• Develop day-of-flight procedures for battery charging and health checks.
• Support testing at Moses Lake, WA and Cape Canaveral.
• Provide on-console avionics support for tests and launches.
