Job summary
Innova Solutions is hiring a Software Engineer for avionics software in Yorba Linda, CA. You will develop embedded software in DO-178C and support certification activities across DOORS, Vector CAST, and LDRA.
The role covers the full software lifecycle from requirements to verification and release, in a safety-critical, real-time environment. The ideal candidate has 9+ years in real-time embedded software, DO-178C experience, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to align system
Qualifications
- Experience with DO-178C certification deliverables such as plans and traceability.
- Experience with safety-critical embedded software standards in avionics.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage reviews.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded avionics software in compliance with DO-178C objectives and project plans.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from planning to release.
- Perform software verification activities including reviews and testing.
- Support certification artifacts and SOI audits with authorities.
- Collaborate to align system, software, and hardware interfaces.
