Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. seeks a Simulation & Test Electrical Design Engineer for ASITF to author and maintain electrical drawings for avionics systems. You will design test interfaces, harnesses, and simulations to model actual aircraft hardware and models in the loop.

Responsibilities include solving complex electrical design challenges, coordinating documentation, and ensuring compliance with design standards. FAA/industry practices influence daily work in a highly technical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years in aircraft systems test, wiring design or troubleshooting.
• Experience drafting and modifying electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement electrical integration and test solutions for ASITF.
• Document analyses, decisions, and designs to support configuration management.
• Provide independent engineering judgment to resolve complex electrical design issues.
