West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Team Lead, Avionics Repair, to supervise a skilled group in our Chattanooga, TN hangar.

You will guide project flow, manage schedules, ensure compliance with FAA processes, and maintain detailed records while delivering high-quality avionics service. The role requires 8+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance with supervisory duties, strong leadership, and the ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in aircraft maintenance/avionics with supervision of 4+ technicians.
• Strong knowledge of FAA paperwork, work orders, and related forms.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct project flow for avionics team.
• Oversee technician work schedules and resource needs to meet aircraft deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct quality audits and inspections per QA guidelines.
• Lead training programs to upskill team members.
• Coordinate multi-project workflows and document outcomes.
• Direct customer communications and reporting on progress.
