Job summary

Qualifications

• Four or more years of hands-on aviation maintenance, avionics repair, or electronics repair experience.
• Two+ years in a team-lead or supervisory role in a regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of FAA Part 145 requirements and managing approved data, traceability, training, and records.
• Ability to read CMMs and service bulletins and apply engineering instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English reading/writing for technical work and supervision.
• FAA mechanic or repairman certification for the supervised work or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of repair technicians with daily priorities and safety-focused practices.
• Plan workload to meet customer commitments, quality standards, and turnaround goals.
• Ensure FAA/Repair Station procedures and data are followed and records are complete.
• Confirm technicians have training, data, parts, and tools to perform work.
• Track shop performance metrics and coordinate issue resolution with other functions.
• Support audits and close corrective actions with Quality and Repair Station Management.
• Develop employees through coaching, feedback, and performance discussions.
• Improve shop-floor processes using Lean, 5S, standard work, and visual management.
