Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle is seeking an Avionics Technical Project Manager to coordinate avionics schedules and workflows for the New Glenn program, ensuring on-time, within-cost milestones. You will manage the project schedule, work breakdown, and cost while coordinating with stakeholders to define avionics requirements and dependencies.

The role demands strong leadership, an expert technical background in avionics hardware, and the ability to present risks and recovery plans to program

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Experience with Primavera (P6) or other PM tools.
  • Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, and EVM.
  • Strong avionics hardware development background (harness/EWIS design, interconnect, wiring).
  • Experience managing development projects (requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, cost).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible for US work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate avionics schedule and workflows across the New Glenn program to ensure on-time delivery within cost.
  • Create project management plans and support the avionics harnessing team with guiding artifacts.
  • Present status, risks, variances, and recovery plans to program management.
  • Track technical performance measures to support the development team in meeting defined performance goals.
