Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies seeks an experienced avionics operations leader to oversee all aspects of avionics installation, modification, and maintenance within a fast‑paced shop environment.

You will guide technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in procedures, documentation, and RTS activities. A&P certification and leadership experience are required, with FAA standards and TAS processes emphasized.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience.
• Two (2) years of aircraft maintenance leadership experience.
• Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
• B1, B1.1, and/or B2 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily avionics operations and mentors technicians in troubleshooting, installations, inspections, and repairs.
• Performs and oversees avionics work including installations, system integrations, and return-to-service testing.
• Ensures FAA and Part 145 compliance with regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and TAS quality procedures.
• Coordinates workflow, evaluates manpower and tooling, assigns tasks, and manages shop priorities for efficient project flow.
• Explains findings, upgrade options, timelines, and technical recommendations to customers.
• Maintains accurate documentation including logbooks, wiring diagrams, test results, and RTS paperwork.
• Promotes safety and a clean, professional avionics workspace.
