Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years in commercial aircraft MRO preferred.
• A&P (airframe & powerplant) certification required; B1/B2 a plus.
• 5+ years leadership in aircraft maintenance preferred; ability to mentor technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily avionics operations and support technicians in troubleshooting, installations, inspection, and repairs.
• Oversee avionics installations, system integrations, and return-to-service testing.
• Ensure FAA and Part 145 compliance, regulatory documentation, and TAS quality procedures.
• Coordinate workflow, evaluate manpower and tooling, assign tasks, and manage shop priorities.
• Communicate findings, upgrade options, timelines, and technical recommendations to customers.
• Maintain accurate documentation, logbooks, wiring diagrams, tests, and RTS paperwork.
• Mentor and develop technicians; provide training and skill development.
• Assist with complex troubleshooting and guidance on advanced electrical/avionics issues.
• Promote a safe, organized shop and long-term department growth.
