You will support production of high-speed avionics hardware, develop and improve manufacturing methods, and work with Operations, Quality, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet customer requirements. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and throughput with opportunities to create tooling, fixtures, and automation contributions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of related experience; graduate degree plus 2 years preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing engineering activities to ensure safe, efficient, repeatable processes.
• Develop and sustain processes for CCAs, microelectronics, cables, and chassis assemblies.
• Create and maintain AMS, work instructions, process flows, tooling needs.
• Analyze constraints and implement improvements to yield, cycle time, and throughput.
• Design fixtures and tooling with standardization and mistake-proofing in mind.
• Create fixtures using in-house additive manufacturing and other methods.
• Support automation initiatives for manual assembly operations.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to technicians and operators.
• Communicate with internal/external customers on issues and status.
• Assist root cause investigations and corrective actions for nonconformances.
