West Star Aviation in Chicago, IL is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair avionics units down to the component level and maintain aircraft systems.

You will perform removal and installation of panels and components, troubleshoot and verify performance, and support customer projects under the Avionics Team Leader. A high school diploma and electronics training are preferred, with 1+ year experience preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training preferred.
• 1+ year avionics repair or installation experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units down to component level (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot).
• Removal and installation of panels and components and related repair work.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft systems and components.
• Coordinate with customers on project management and pricing.
• Work independently on projects and follow FAA guidelines.
