Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an Installation Technician to provide on-site avionics support for military aircraft at the Mineral Wells, TX facility. You will report to the Flight Operations Manager and work a dayshift on site.

The role involves troubleshooting, installation, and conformity inspections within a FAA Part 145 environment. Preferred credentials include an IA rating and pilot's license; strong interpretation of engineering drawings and compliance with aviation standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Avionics or FAA A&P certification.
• Minimum 3 years avionics experience in general aviation or helicopter environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve avionics discrepancies.
• Install avionics equipment per engineering data and regs.
• Interpret drawings and installation documents for compliant work.
• Ensure FAA regulations and Repair Station standards are followed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and installation records.
