Job summary

Blue Origin in Kent, WA is seeking an Aerospace Avionics Technician to assemble, repair, and evaluate electrical and mechanical assemblies for spaceflight systems, including flight-grade avionics. You will work from schematics and collaborate with engineering to ensure safety and quality on development, test, and flight hardware.

The role requires 3+ years in aerospace avionics, familiarity with soldering, wire harnesses, and basic testing; U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Aerospace Avionics or related fields.
• Experience with soldering, wire harness work and basic electronics testing.
• Familiarity with ESD environments and tool-control/accountability processes.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in lab, shop, and flight environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, and evaluate electrical and mechanical assemblies for spaceflight systems.
• Collaborate with engineering to determine best manufacturing assembly practices.
• Provide input on manufacturing improvements or build changes to increase efficiency.
• Support internal and external customers across multiple systems and platforms while maintaining safety and quality.
