Job summary

Inertial Aerospace, a HEICO company, is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer in Highland Heights, OH to design, develop, integrate, and test aerospace avionics electronics and test systems. Responsibilities include hardware design, prototype validation, and production transitions.

The candidate will review product documentation, develop test equipment concepts, perform detailed analog/digital design, and collaborate with software engineering to integrate test equipment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience using analytical equipment to troubleshoot systems.
• Test equipment design and development.
• Circuit debugging and soldering proficient.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Review available product documentation and analyze design features to determine test equipment requirements.
• Develop test equipment concepts that can be implemented effectively.
• Perform detailed analog and digital design from conception through production.
• Schematic entry, supervise PCB layout, and component selection.
• Integrate test equipment hardware and software with the product with software engineering support.
• Troubleshoot problems/issues with test sets/products and provide an analytical basis for resolution.
• Provide test equipment and product support to production.
• Develop and present technical briefings to management.
• Collaborate with colleagues and manage multiple tasks.
