Job summary

Inertial Aerospace, a HEICO Company, is seeking an Avionics Engineering Technician to join our Engineering team in Ohio. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, assembly and testing of avionics test equipment, with emphasis on detail and reliability.

Ideal candidates have strong depth in test systems, experience with PCB assembly and test procedures, and excellent communication. FAA pre-employment drug screening and valid work authorization in the USA are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of avionics test equipment and systems.
• Experience with engineering documentation and test procedures.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and test avionics test equipment.
• Support failure analysis and root cause corrective action.
• Develop and maintain test procedures and compile engineering data.
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly for testing avionics.
• Read and interpret English technical documentation.
