Job summary

ITMC Systems, Inc. is seeking an Avionics/Hardware Design Engineer to join our Melbourne, FL onsite team. You will design analog/digital circuits, RF hardware, and embedded systems, performing simulations, PCB layout, and EMI/EMC testing to DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–12 years of relevant hardware experience, proficiency with SPICE/MATLAB, and hands-on debugging in lab environments. A degree in EE is required; US person status is assumed for access to sensitive work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–12 years hands-on hardware and circuit design experience.
• Strong RF/Microwave design interest and testing capabilities.
• Hands-on with SPICE tools and MATLAB for modeling.
• Experience with EMI/EMC compliance testing required.
• Familiarity with ECAD tools like Mentor Graphics Xpedition.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and develop analog/digital circuits and RF hardware.
• Perform circuit simulation and tolerance analysis using SPICE and MATLAB.
• Lead EMI/EMC testing and environmental qualification per standards.
• Author hardware requirements, test plans, and verification reports.
• Troubleshoot and bring-up hardware in lab environments.
