Job summary

Sapsol Technologies Inc in Burnsville, MN seeks a Hardware Design Engineer with emphasis on circuit design and analog design to join our onsite team.

You will work on RF/microwave designs, EMI/EMC testing, SPICE simulations, and PCB layouts using Mentor Xpedition, MATLAB, and related tools. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or RF engineering is preferred, with DO-160/MIL-STD-461 experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Hardware design and development
• RF/Microwave design and testing
• SPICE – LTspice / PSpice / TINA
• ECAD/PCB design – Mentor Graphics Xpedition preferred
• MATLAB
• EMI/EMC testing – Mandatory
• Hardware requirements, specifications, and test plans
• Hardware troubleshooting/debugging
• DO-160 / MIL-STD-461 experience preferred
• Hardware qualification and environmental testing
• Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical, Electronics, Avionics, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware and develop analog circuits
• Execute RF/microwave designs and validation tests
• Perform EMI/EMC testing and ensure compliance
• Create hardware requirements, specs and test plans
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues
• Coordinate with PCB layout and environmental testing teams
• Maintain SPICE models and perform circuit simulations
• Support DO-160 and MIL-STD-461 compliance as needed
• Prepare documentation for qualification activities
