Job summary

Sapsol Technologies Inc. is seeking an Avionics Hardware Design Engineer to drive the design, development, and validation of advanced avionics hardware for RF-focused applications in a highly regulated setting.

You will contribute across the full hardware development lifecycle, from early design to testing and validation. Ideal candidates have 5–12 years of hardware design experience, hands-on RF/microwave expertise, and a background in aerospace or related industries.

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of hardware design and development experience within highly regulated environments.
• Hands-on RF/microwave design and testing experience.
• Experience with EMI/EMC testing, hardware troubleshooting, and environmental qualification testing.
• Knowledge of GNSS concepts and receiver processing is a plus.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar industries is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop avionics hardware for RF-focused systems.
• Perform RF and microwave design and testing.
• Create hardware requirements, specifications, and test plans.
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues throughout development.
• Conduct EMI/EMC, qualification, and environmental testing.
• Use SPICE, ECAD/PCB design tools, and MATLAB in development and validation.
