Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Operations Engineer III on the Space Coast, FL. You will develop, manage, and execute tests and operations for New Glenn avionics, including GNC SW/HW, OFP updates, and live launches.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, cross-team collaboration, and ability to work night/weekend shifts as launches occur. Strong programming in QT/Python and FPGA knowledge are valued for success.

Competenze

B.S. degree in a technical field as listed.
Experience in avionics GNC design, test, integration and/or operations.

Mansioni

Process assigned vehicle systems from stage receipt through launch and landing.
Develop and maintain production schedules, quality documents, and engineering.
Interact with other teams to prepare and launch operational flight vehicles.
Interface with embedded software team for deployment and OFP updates.
Ensure launch vehicle and ground systems are integrated and prepared for launch.
Work night/weekend shifts as required for launches.
Write sequencer code and create controller panels.
Troubleshoot and test hands-on as needed.
Certify as launch engineer controller for launch day operations.
Identify and correct anomaly causes during time-critical ops.
Perform data reviews and drive process improvements after flight.
Expand knowledge of avionics systems for launch ops.
