Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced Avionics GNC engineer to join the Orbital Launch Engineering Avionics team. You will develop, test, and operate integrated GNC HW/SW for the New Glenn vehicle, including IMUs, NAV sensors, GPS, and main flight computer software.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, sequencing, and collaboration with software, hardware, and operations teams. Ideal candidates will have a BS in engineering/CS/physics and 5+ years in avionics GNC, with experience in real-time

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Math.
• 5+ years industry experience in Avionics GNC Design, Test, Integration and/or Operations.
• Experience with code review processes and SCI’s; basic knowledge of avionics networks.

Responsibilities

• Process assigned vehicle systems from stage receipt to launch and landing.
• Develop, interpret, and consume operational requirements; produce technical plans and procedures.
• Interface with embedded software team for deployment and updating OFP to avionics.
• Certify as launch engineer controller and operate systems on launch day.
