Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Santa Barbara area is seeking an avionics field engineer to support a Skunk Works program with challenging, on-site tasks. You will deploy, maintain and redeploy program assets, perform fault analysis, and communicate issues across program channels.

Requirements include field experience interfacing with customers, troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Customer interface experience in a field environment.
• Troubleshooting experience with aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
• Active Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the on-site Customer and deploy program assets.
• Perform fault analysis and resolution of aircraft electrical and avionics system discrepancies.
• Attend debriefings to aid in rapid identification of system issues and detect emerging issues.
• Operate and assist in the service and maintenance of support equipment.
