Job summary

United Launch Alliance in Denver seeks an Electrical Engineer for the Avionics team. You will manage current and future hardware designs for ULA rockets, with responsibilities spanning guidance, RF, power, instrumentation, and flight controls.

Role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM, 2+ years of related experience, and ability to travel. You’ll perform analyses, develop requirements, review data, and coordinate with internal teams and the launch site to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience with engineering tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage requirements for avionics systems.
• Perform system analysis including battery consumption, voltage drop, fusing, etc.
• Support system integration of new avionics components and testing.
• Coordinate with engineers, manufacturing, subcontractors and the launch site to improve designs.
• Address issues during launch site operations related to hardware.
