Job summary

United Launch Alliance is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Avionics team in Denver to manage current and future hardware designs for ULA rockets. You will contribute to guidance, RF, power, and flight controls across subsystems.

The role requires at least 2 years in a related field, strong problem-solving, and willingness to travel. Expect a team-focused environment with opportunities for career growth and exposure to mission-critical launch activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with engineering tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, coordination and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated to manage and close on assignments.
  • Communication skills including documentation and presentations; proficient with Office apps.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and/or managing requirements, including functional, physical, and environmental test.
  • Perform system analysis including battery consumption, voltage drop, fusing, etc.
  • Support/lead system integration of new avionics components.
  • Performing software and hardware data review.
  • Address, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that occur during launch site hardware.
