Job summary

Sky Limit Systems in the United States is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our aerospace/avionics manufacturing team. The role focuses on component-level troubleshooting, repair, and testing of avionics communication, navigation, and flight-control equipment.

You will read schematics, perform soldering, use oscillos and test gear, and ensure FAA traceability in all repairs and documentation within our ERP system.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electronics troubleshooting/repair experience.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and related electronic test equipment.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot from electronic schematics.
• Experience with soldering, desoldering, through-hole, and/or surface-mount components.
• Avionics, aerospace, FAA repair station, or MRO experience strongly preferred.
• Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military/technical trade experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic assemblies and circuit boards to the component level.
• Perform functional testing of avionics control panels and electronic assemblies.
• Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, function generators, and specialized avionics test equipment.
• Repair and replace defective through-hole and surface-mount electronic components.
• Perform soldering and desoldering using standard electronics repair equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and test procedures.
• Document repairs, parts removal/installation, and work performed in accordance with FAA traceability requirements.
• Track and close repair work orders within an ERP system.
