Job summary

KIHOMAC, Inc. seeks an avionics technician to maintain and repair military or commercial avionics and related electronic systems, read schematics, perform fault isolation, and conduct functional testing.

Applicants should have a high school diploma with 2+ years' experience; an associate degree in electronics is preferred. US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance may be required. On-site role in Layton, UT with health and retirement benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred in electronics-related fields.
• 2+ years of hands-on electronics repair and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with avionics, radar, or similar complex electronic systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair avionics and related electronic systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers for fault isolation.
• Perform basic component-level repairs, soldering, and board rework as needed.
• Conduct functional and post-repair testing following procedures.
• Document troubleshooting activities, failures, actions, and outcomes.
