Gulfstream Van Nuys is hiring an Avionics/Electrical Technician 3 to perform tests, diagnose, repair, and maintain avionics and aircraft electrical systems. The role emphasizes adherence to engineering specs, quality controls, and safety standards to ensure defect-free aircraft.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 5 years in avionics/electrical fields, and preferred A&P/FCC/NCATT certs. Travel is up to 25% per posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 5 years avionics/electrical experience.
• 2 years of accredited aviation electronics schooling may offset two years of experience.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates superior technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Teaches installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per engineering specs and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations; troubleshoots and repairs to provide timely fixes.
• Maintains logs and paperwork for all work performed on the aircraft.
• Coordinates with other disciplines on projects and supports engineering changes.
