Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Brunswick seeks an RS Avionics/Electrical Tech III to perform advanced tests and repairs on avionics systems. The role requires strong schematic literacy, experience with installation and testing per specs, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Applicants should have 5 years in avionics/electrical fields and may offset with 2 years of aviation electronics schooling. Multiple shifts and up to 25% travel are available.
Multiple shifts available. G550 experience preferred but not required. Proficient with blueprints and wiring diagrams required.
High School Diploma or GED required. 5 years experience in an avionics/electrical career field. 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics may offset two years of experience requirement. A & P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred. Position Purpose: Provides technical expertise while performing various operational, functional tests and repairs of avionics/electronic, aircraft equipment and systems to ensure a defect free aircraft. Provides superior technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact. Demonstrates technical expertise by defining and implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising Safety or Quality.
