Job summary

Intergen is seeking a skilled Avionics/Electrical Technician in Savannah, GA to test, troubleshoot, install, and verify aircraft systems. You will read schematics, assemble and inspect wiring, and document compliance with safety and engineering standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant avionics experience, or two years of aviation electronics schooling plus two years of related work. FAA/NCATT credentials preferred; shift covers First & Second.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and four years avionics/electrical experience.
• Alternatively, two years accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus two years related experience.
• A&P license preferred; NCATT and FCC credentials preferred.
• Must read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting.
• Performs installation and functionally tests of electrical/avionics components per engineering specs and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency; troubleshoots to provide timely repairs of malfunctioning systems.
• Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring, including splicing, soldering and pinning.
• Conducts tests, documents work for inspection, and complies with safety regulations.
• Adapt to sudden schedule changes; may support flight tests as needed.
• Support certification and final phase testing as required.
