Job summary

RTX invites aspiring engineers to join the Collins Aerospace avionics systems engineering team in Cedar Rapids for hands-on experience shaping next‑generation avionics computing products. You will contribute across hardware, software and systems domains, learning the full lifecycle from requirements to integration and verification.

The program targets students pursuing an engineering degree and offers exposure to multidisciplinary teams, with potential benefits and relocation eligibility

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Python is used regularly in the role)
• Working knowledge of computer architecture.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
