Job summary

Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics is seeking a Certification Engineer in Wichita, KS to support FAA TSO, STC and PMA activities. You will manage testing from start to finish, review data for compliance and provide top-tier customer service.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years in electrical testing/certification, hands-on test equipment experience, and strong communication skills. A/bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing and certifying electrical equipment.
• Direct experience with industry, regulatory, and/or military standards/specifications.
• Experience with Oscilloscopes, DVMs, data acquisition, and other electrical test equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organized, focused and results oriented.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test and certify electrical equipment to support FAA TSO, STC and PMA activities.
• Manage the entire testing process from project start to finish.
• Review technical data and forms to ensure compliance with requirements, while providing customer service.
