Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC in Greenville, SC seeks a FACO Production Avionics, F-16 Technician for Lockheed Martin’s Greenville Production Final Assembly and Checkout Team. You will test/install electrical harnesses and components, route wires, terminate cables, and perform operational checks.

Experience in fighter avionics is preferred but not required; 6+ years electrical/AVI experience and 2+ years soldering are required. Onsite start 7/27/26 with shifts including days, evenings, and weekend options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years recent soldering experience; must pass soldering test/training.
• Must start onsite in Greenville, SC on 7/27/26; be able to work assigned shifts.

Job description

You will be the FACO Production Avionics, F-16 Technician for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Final Assembly and Checkout Team. Our team is responsible for Final Assembly and Checkout functions to include installs of electrical harnesses/wires, continuity testing, System testing, and soldering/termination operations.

What You Will Be Doing

As the FACO Production Avionics, F-16 Technician you will be responsible for Testing/installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, Terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks. You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area assigned. Will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections. Fighter Aircraft Experience is Preferred, but not required. Heavy Electrical/MOD experience is accepted

Required

Avionics/Harness Mod Experience is required 6+ years of solid electrical/AVI experience, will consider candidates with 4 years of Recent Aircraft experience if they have relevant fighter jet experience 2+ years of recent soldering experience is required (Must be able to pass soldering test/training! ) MUST be able to start onsite in Greenville, SC on 7/27/26 MUST be able to work any of the following shifts. Final shift will be determined after training:

• 1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 6;00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM
• Weekend Shift- Thurs-Sun.; 6;00 AM to 4:30 PM
